Japan Kikan Capital Inc. (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) takes fiduciary duty for beneficiaries from a long-term perspective in accordance with the Company‘s “Management Policy”, “Code of Ethics” and the United Nations “Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI)”. We are responsible to fulfill.

As a PE fund management company, we believe that efforts to address environmental issues, social issues, corporate governance issues, etc. will be evaluated as a company, and the results will lead to the performance of fund profits managed. In addition to striving for cooperation and collaboration with domestic and overseas stakeholders, we aim to realize a sustainable society by comprehensively considering various types of risks that affect corporate evaluation.

Policy

１. Contributing to the conservation of the global environment and the creation of a prosperous and comfortable society
We are receiving various benefits such as resources necessary for our business activities, understand the risks and investment opportunities related to climate change, and strive to manage risks that have a significant impact on our business.

２. Contribution to the realization of a stable society
As a good corporate citizen, officers and employees will comply with the Principles for Responsible Investment, make reasonable efforts, actively participate in social activities in consideration of the United Nations Global Compact Principles (UNGC), and stabilize and maintain social order. I will do my best.

3. Collaboration and collaboration with stakeholders
i. Employee education and enlightenment
In order to promote sustainability initiatives by top management, we will strive to develop employees who are highly conscious of the environment by implementing education and enlightenment activities such as ESG training.
ii. Collaboration with outside parties
Officers and employees will work to reduce the environmental burden and promote interaction with the local community.
iii. Information disclosure
We will endeavor to disclose sustainability policies and initiatives to various stakeholders such as investors and business partners.
